An online meeting was held on the initiative of the Scientific Library Center to discuss the research results of the University. At the meeting, Umit Yontar, an official partner of many leading publishing houses in Azerbaijan and Central Asia, as well as the “Informascope” company, and Yasemin Solay, a representative of the “Elsevier” publishing house, made a presentation on the SciVal platform.
    The high research achievements of Western Caspian University reflected on the SciVal platform and scientific publications with high quality indicators in the Scopus scientometric database in recent years were discussed, as well as the information on which the THE (Times Higher Education) international university ranking reflected there is based.
    During the presentation, Umit Yontar spoke about the advantages of the SciVal platform in analyzing the scientific activity of the university, effective planning of research and establishing international cooperation, and answered questions from the university's teaching staff and researchers.
