Western Caspian University Library was established in 1991 and is an intellectual hub of the University. Comfortable study spaces and reading halls are available for students, faculty and staff to search, explore, read and study during regular library hours. Library team is committed to providing access to books and other information sources.

  • Academic support

Library staff can help with finding the best resources to support teaching, learning and research at the University. We offer a wide range of print and electronic resources to Western Caspian University community, as well as access to electronic information resources. We support student and faculty research through one-on-one reference assistance, instruction and help with information literacy skills.

 

  • Resources and collections

WCU Library collection hold books, monographs, textbooks, reference materials, periodicals, thesis and dissertations and United Nations publications.  

The library staff create library accounts for current WCU students, faculty and staff and work with Schools and Departments to make sure they are provided with resources which support the teaching and research subjects of the University. 

 

  • Study and research facilities

WCU Library has two branches located at Ahmad Rajabli 21 and Istiglaliyyat 31 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The Reference Desk is located in main Reading Hall on the 1st floor in Rajabli Branch. Research assistance is available during the regular library hours. We are ready to assist WCU students, faculty and staff in person, via e-mail, Zoom or Teams call during the academic year.

Students can use computer workstations in WCU Libraries. A separate reading room on the same floor is offered to faculty members and professors equipped with computer workstations, projector and reference collection.
